The day job
I’m a Software Engineer at ServiceNow in Santa Clara, California, building playbooks and AI agents for government services: licensing and permits, social benefits, grants and investigations. Before that I spent four years in Kathmandu as a frontend developer and UI/UX lead, shipping healthcare products, and then moved to Lubbock for a master’s in Computer Science at Texas Tech.

Why this blog
Most of the trips here are treks in Nepal: long bus rides west, jeep transfers that break down, and days of walking to lakes and base camps that most people only see in photos. I write them up so I remember the details, and so the next person planning the same route knows what it really takes, including the budget, the difficulty and the day-by-day route.
Every story is pinned on the map on the home page. Click a country to zoom in and browse the trips there.
